I have made the sourdough sandwich bread made with levain a few times. It’s the best bread ever. So much better than anything I have had for sandwiches. Stays fresh and soft longer. This is the only white bread I bake anymore. I usually make the levain around 8 or 9pm and it’s ready to put in my recipe in the morning.
I started using sourdough for my bread baking. It was a learning curve for sure but really enjoy working with it now.
