I've kept pie crumbs for years - I use butter crisco and make enough for about 6 crusts and store in doubled plastic freezer bag in the back of the refrigerator. Have kept up to 3 months with no problems - the crusts always taste great, and it's wonderful because I make many different pie sizes and can just grab what I need. Can't imagine doing it any other way.
