Here is my thoughts, and I'm going to try these this Fall: Boiled Cider substituted for Molasses in that old recipe found on the Brer Rabbit Molasses bottle for Molasses Crinkle Sugar drop cookies. Going to also adapt this to make Hermits (the usual recipe is molasses-based). Substitute boiled cider for honey or molasses in whole wheat and other bread recipes calling for those other syrups. Use in a base for glaze for pork, poultry, and salmon recipes. Use when making apple cider vinegar vinegarette to substitute for the honey or the sugar.
