I have just put an apple pie in the oven after using the stand mixer recipe. I don't know how it is going to be because I had a huge problem rolling this out. I followed the instructions to the T and my unrolled pastry looked exactly like the pictures. As I was rolling the pastry it started to rip into large pieces. Not crumble but tear. I am sure I did something wrong but cant for the life of me know what. I have been making pies for 50 years and after 2 shoulder surgeries and arthritis in my hands I thought this was a wonderful idea. Can you tell me what I might have done wrong?
