We generally recommend doing no more than tripling a recipe unless you plan to use baker's percentages, because the ratios of the ingredients can get a bit wonky at higher amounts. But if you've already got a recipe you're using to make large amounts of pie crust by hand, feel free to do the same in your mixer! You'll just want to make sure that it's an amount of dough that your mixer is capable of handling. Check the manufacturer's instructions if you're not sure how much your specific mixer can handle.
