I love my Kitchenaid mixer(s) and will try this as my hands are getting to the point they grumble at me more and more. If you’re a tried and true Crisco-only pie crust maker, would this still work and should you add it in two steps like you do with the butter part, maybe freezing chunks of it for the second addition?
