Oh Yes! Thank you so much for this post about making your pie crust in YOUR KITCHEN AID MIXER!!! I waited 25 years of marriage, to purchase my mixer. Oh yes, I really wanted one, just like my favorite aunt, Clara. Yet my grandma Silkman and Nana Bergeron, didn't have one. ALL baked fabulous treats. But, Clara baked more and quicker, Grandma and Nana, didn't bake as many treats, but, said they baked with love. I guess, I figured handmade, by hand meant more love. I did get my mixer 16 years ago, baked more, but, still made my pie crusts by hand. After reading your post, tomorrow, I will use my handy dandy, Kitchen Aid Mixer. I will still bake with love, with no guilt that I'm using my mixer!!
