Okay this is the second time I have made these pie crusts in my stand mixer. I have to say they are my best attempt ever at pie crust. This method allows you to mix the ingredients just right, and more importantly how to add just the right amount of water resulting in a tender, flakey crust. I have struggled with this in the past. I have made two pecan pies, one lemon meringue, and the bacon quiche that was on the website "which is fabulous by the way" with this crust. This is my new method for pie crust, and my new recipe too. The KAF Classic Double Pie Crust is perfect for any pie. Thanks to KAF for all your wonderful products and recipes.
