I have been making pies for years but this recipe and method yielded the best results!! I had not wanted to use shortening as I believed all butter crusts were better. I was wrong-this crust browned beautifully and didn’t shrink. Also, the 2 to 1 ratio for top/bottom crusts worked wonderfully as well. Thanks so much my search for the perfect pie crust is finally over😊
