Foolproof pie crust, room temperature recipe; no mixer needed.
1 stick butter (or 1/4 pound lard)
1 and 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water.
put butter, salt, water and half of the flour into a bowl.
mix into a paste with a fork.
Work in the rest of the flour..
roll out on a well floured board.
