I just baked an apple pie today and used 4 Red Delicious and 4 Golden Delicious and 2 Fuji. That is all I had to use. . . I questioned if it would be good at all with that combination of apples. The pie is absolutely delicious! My husband and I were both commenting on the great flavor and it was so juicy and yet it was set not runny. It is one of the best pies that I have baked in a long time!
