We love a little local history around this variety of apple, Marsha. Luckily as more folks are starting to take notice of these dying heirloom varieties, we're able to save of these apples for futures bakers and all of the pie enthusiast out there! We'd love to try some of these Gravensteins if we're ever in the area.
