Only had Gala apples at home & in the mood for apple pie. Made with KAB wonderful recipe and have to say it was delicious!!
I did use clear gel & boiled cider in filling, and a Tablespoon of white vinegar in crust.
My husband said “best pie ever!”
One question: How do I prevent gap between top of apples and crust when bakes? Other than that — perfect.
