Minnesota Haralsons are a wonderful baking apple. Tart, smooth, keeps its shape--perfect for pies and natural applesauce made with cinnamon stick. Their flavor is enhanced after a good frost. I live in South-Central Wisconsin now, but don't see them here anywhere. Haralsons are worth a drive over the border.
