I use 6 different apples in a pie - going by what’s on my grocers shelves at any time - pink lady, gala, etc. I like that every bite is the same but different. I always include a Granny Smith in the mix but other than that it’s a mixed bag. I also use Cardamom instead of cinnamon as my son is allergic to cinnamon. Makes a great flavor!
