Many of the types you list aren't avail here in Southern Illinois but Jonathan & Jonagold are readily available. So that is what I use. On fall trips to southwest Michigan I have stocked up on Cortland & Northern Spy but if I'm not there at the exact week they are being picked then I 'm out of luck. Granny Smith are in local grocery stores here almost the whole season but must mix them with other varieties to have more apple flavor. Honeycrisp is also a favorite but double the price so I'll pick another.
