I agree about the jonathons, but it has been a long time since I've been able to find them. They used to be abundant in Illinois and Michigan and I would buy them by the half bushel to use in pies and mix with Macs in apple sauce. In Maryland for the past 25 years and no Jonathons. I loved them. Sigh.
