Cox's Pippins have such a great texture and nutty flavour. Bramley and Blackberry Pie with aingle or double crust was a favourite. Growing up in Cornwall we would collect blackberries on our walks and my grandmother would make pies and preserves. Pies were always accompanied by home-made clotted cream.
