We hail from Geneva NY, home to the NYS Agricultural Experiment Station which is responsible for many of the varietals mentioned. Our favorite not only for eating but also for pies and sauce? The Empire! Developed locally by the amazing Dr. Lamb. Those of you not living in upstate New York may have trouble locating it, but it is superior for all your apple needs!
