For my family, the search is always on for the best Macs we can find. I make several and freeze them for special occasions. I’ve tried a couple others and found them disappointing. The true test of using a thin knife to cut to the bottom of the center of the pie. There should be NO resistance. The flavor! The perfection of the texture! The perfect flaky crust.
