Secret confession: I prefer...box brownies. I've made three of King Arthur's brownie recipes (classic, deep-dark fudge, and whole wheat) and all of them have tasted like chocolate cake, which I hate. No matter what I try they seem to come out dry or cakey and usually flavorless. Box brownies just taste better. Any suggestions? Brownies are my absolute, die on a desert island, favorite dessert.
