Hi Dianne! Active Dry Yeast and Instant Yeast are interchangeable 1-for-1 so that you can go right ahead and make that swap. Because yeast production technology has made some leaps in the last few decades, blooming Active Dry is no longer necessary. You can add it right to your dry ingredients as you would Instant Yeast.
