Hi Sine, dry yeast is much more common than fresh yeast here in America. Some bakers report being able to get some from large bakeries or in specialty shops in large cities (like New York). If you'd like to experiment with using dry yeast, you can use this conversion table from Red Star to get an idea of how much you should use. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
