50% bread flour and 50% whole wheat flour can make a lovely loaf, Steven! That being said, if you're not a fan of whole wheat, you might have better luck making a loaf that you enjoy using white whole wheat. It's still a whole grain with all the nutritional goodness of traditional whole wheat, it's just made from white wheat berries, resulting in a flour that's lighter in color and milder in flavor than traditional whole wheat made from red wheat berries.
