Hi Dolores, by bread machine flour, do you mean bread flour? If so, you can't substitute it 1:1, but you can use all-purpose flour and add some vital wheat gluten to give it some extra lift. You can't quite convert all-purpose flour to bread flour, it's the protein content of the wheat they're milled from that makes them different. You can use all-purpose flour in place of bread flour, we recommend decreasing the liquid by 2 teaspoons per cup of flour substituted and you can add a tablespoon or two of the vital wheat gluten per loaf  to the dry ingredients to help with the rise.
