I tried this recipe today and the dough never rose. The recipe doesn't say how long to knead and so I had dough that was dry and not sticky following the recipe precisely. And, it just sat. Ultimately got about 15% bigger so I rolled it out and baked them. Wound up with inedible lumps. I've made cinnamon rolls and sticky buns before but I wanted to try the Tangzhong method. Which I have to say, for me, was a bust. I would welcome any suggestions.
