I have made the same jam and this year I processed it in a water bath (I had a lot), and gave as gifts. Turned out very good this way also. My problem is that I can't find rhubarb easily her in southern Texas and have to rely on what friends bring when they visit the midwest. I tried growing it here, didn't work. I miss growing my own and making so many different things with it. I saw someone post about "Victoria" rhubarb which grows in the SW, I am going to look for that one and try it again.
