Hi there— this recipe for Vanilla Bean Ice Cream doesn't call for any flour, as it's not traditionally an ingredient that's included in ice cream. You might be thinking of the xanthan gum, which helps keep the custard creamy and tender. You're welcome to leave this ingredient out if you wish, or you can consider making another ice cream that doesn't call for it like our Chocolate Decadence Ice Cream or even frozen yogurt.
