Perhaps a… by Christopher Thompson (not verified) I have found that the alcohol base of extract can serve this purpose as long as you're using enough, so even if I'm doing a vanilla bean ice cream with real beans I will add extract at well. Going this way I've never had an issue with scooping! Reply
