My mother-in-law gifted me with her recipe for pound cake about 50 years ago! Alas, although treasured, it disappeared. I'm sure her recipe called for Blue Bonnet margarine, and was actually tastier than when I eventually tried butter. The pound cake was tastier the day after baking than day-of. I've tried a number of other recipes, but none have matched. I have some home-made blueberry sauce waiting for the perfect recipe!
