Hi, I'm a scone junkie so will be trying this for sure. Another suggestion relating to the freezer tip: When I make apple crisp (or any flavor) I put the crisp in the freezer, spread out on a cookie sheet, for 30 minutes before adding it on top. You get much nicer, bigger chunks of crisp that way. Cheers. JWS
