I first started making this in 1967 as a young bride! It has been a favorite all these years. Favorite toppings are a simple confectioners glaze with almonds sprinkled over and the second is just a topping of mini chocolate chips sprinkled over the puff while fresh out of the oven and then allowed to melt. It is a simple but elegant way to make a pastry.
