Where is the best place to keep a starter? In a dark corner of the kitchen or in the fridge? Also does it need to be covered tightly? Once I used some plastic wrap over my glass dish but it wasn’t tight enough on one side so the starter partially dried out. I now use your covered crock and that works better. I live in AZ so it is very dry here.
