The parchment paper can be slightly larger in diameter than the bottom of the springform. When the side is snapped shut, there should be a 1/4" edge of parchment on the bottom. Once the C-cake is cool, you can raise up an edge of the parchment paper and slide a cake spatula under the parchment to remove the C-cake from the springform bottom and onto the dish of your choosing.
