Thanks for your question, Michael! For certified organic flours (of which we offer a full line), any direct application of glyphosate to the wheat or wheat fields is prohibited. A residue limit of 1.5 parts per million of glyphosate is set by the USDA for organic (just 5% of the EPA’s residue limit of 30 parts per million in cases where it could be applied directly to non-organic crops). This is to account for the possibility of unintended, trace contact despite all standards and procedures being strictly upheld. Our organic flour line is independently verified by QAI (Quality Assurance International) to ensure organic certification requirements are strictly followed.
