Greetings King Arthur Wheat: We bought a bag of King Arthur yesterday for special meal but by coincidence my friend from England posted a blog stating that all american wheat is being desssicated by Monsanto Roundup. Monsanto ruined beans worldwide but wheat as well for an unproven benefit. She wrote: Subject: Why do Farmers Spray Roundup on Wheat, and Doctors Call it Celiac "gluten free" This comes from an enlightened farmer. Do you think we consumers are entitled to healthy food for our money? We should become aware of food safety issues to protect our own bodies and other bodies too. Farmers have duty of care to the customers. People should take the supermarkets to court if toxic food is supplied to them.Farmers do not get paid much for their produce so they are tempted to cut corners. Supermarkets ought to pay them fair prices for healthy food. Our very lives depend on that. Eat well and enjoy a good life.
