I am anxiously awaiting a class in June with Tara. We built an Alan Scott wood fired oven that took two years to complete. Alan's book is a wonderful outline and plan and we knew nothing about masonry. It turned out great and the intense flavor of food cannot be duplicated in a regular oven. We make Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners out there along with the best pizza ever eaten. It is truly a joy to use. Two of my brothers liked it so much that they also built one. It is a family thing!!!
