Hi Joyce, Catcher can certainly be utilized in this recipe! You'll still want him to be nice and active and recently fed when you add him to the starter portion of this recipe. Use the same amount of Catcher as recommended for "fed sourdough starter." Let me know how your bread turns out! Barb
