Hi Nuz, You might be able to use 1 tablespoon of apple sauce in addition to 2 tablespoons of butter and still get good results. We haven't tested this before, but you're welcome to give it a shot if you like. It's important to use at least 2 tablespoons of butter, otherwise the cookies won't hold together or brown as they should. Good luck! Kye@KAF
