Fir the chewy cookies you say to substitute 1 cup of brown sugar fir the 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup granulated sugar. So, are you sayin you will only put in a total of 1 cup of brown? I have adjusted my usual recipe to have 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup granulated sugar- (I also melt the butter) - they come out chewy.
