I really appreciate your post here. And now I need to pick your brain on the chocolate chip cookie saga. I truly have a great chocolate chip cookie recipe that I have used now for 35 years BUT even though this is going to sound crazy, I cant for the life of me think what I am doing wrong or different all of a sudden. I love cookies that are soft and chewy but also where the tops are not smooth but very bumpy. They used to turn out that way but now they come out flatter and smoother on top. I won’t change my recipe because the flavor is superb, my secret ingredient is dry instant vanilla pudding), shh don’t tell anyone and they always came out perfect so can I blame my counter or stove or measuring cups ;)
