BRILLIANT, as always Susan. Love the family photo and can only guess at which one you are not knowing your age relative to your sibs. Brilliant idea about how to use the Pie Shield...I have one and never thought about the size relative to the top crust. Perfect photo to show the difference filling thickeners produce.
