I have a little one pound mini-zo bread machine. I've been having difficulty getting just the right consistency out of my baked loaves (baked in the machine). The loaf sounds and looks done, but when you cut into it, the bread seems a little too moist, and as you try to cut it with a bread knife, it seems to suffer many little "tears" instead of a smooth cut. I am assuming the initial dough was too moist, but I can't get any confirmation of that online. I thought that maybe I should try taking the dough out of the machine, and trying to bake the loaves in the oven. Can you recommend a good sized pan for a one-pound loaf?
