We're so glad that you've found this post so helpful, Jeremey! We recommend storing yeast in an air-tight container (such as a canning jar) in the freezer. This will help to preserve the freshness of the yeast. While you don't have to vacuum seal the yeast for storage, you're certainly welcome to if you'd prefer — it won't harm the yeast cells.
