Allison, most of our bread machine recipes call for 1 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast, but if the recipe calls for a different type of yeast, such as active dry yeast, this will also work. Here's a whole wheat bread recipe for the bread machine that you might like to try. Barb@KAF
