Thank you for that tip. What I am going to dip are homemade butter creams. And my past history has not been very successful. They taste good but the chocolate wants to slide off the chilled butter creams! So I am going to try the melted chocolate and shortening very carefully melted over low heat. Don’t some candy recipes call for paraffin?
