I bought one and love it, but had to work with it a while and get used to it. When you set the automated process for tempering, it melts the chocolate VERY slowly, takes way too long if you dip a lot. What I finally figured out is that I set the bowl on a slightly higher temperature to melt. Then restart it to hold at the appropriate temperature for the type of chocolate. It does an excellent job maintaining the temperature.
