Christine, it is better to take a safe approach and not assume all food coloring are gluten-free, especially if they are the soft gel type (these may use a modified food starch that comes from wheat to help thicken it). The good news is that our soft gel food coloring is gluten-free! Feel free to use this product in your gluten-free baked goods, but as for other brands be sure to read the packaging carefully.
