I just made these, filling them with both strawberry jam and pastry cream. Very good, but despite using a couple different methods, and no matter how round the dough was shaped going into the hot oil, I could not get the uniformly round shapes shown in the photos. Instead, the rounds puffed into elongated shapes sort of like two rounds together. What's the trick to keeping them round?
