Hi Sherry, You can try making your own buttermilk by using non-dairy milk + 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Mix the mix and lemon juice together and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then you can just use it as you would buttermilk. One thing to note is that we have not tested the recipe this way and your bake time might be slightly different.
